the group’s subsidiary Atlantec in France took delivery and installation of the brand new A9 system from atg Luther & Maelzer through its distributor ADEON Technologies. The Group ACB has a long-term experience with the Flying Probe Electrical test systems from atg-LM for it’s PCB production.
There is a clear increase of complexity throughout the range of printed circuits that are required by the end users. The demand for higher volume, as well as higher mix of products prescribe the need for reliable electrical test systems to secure the 100% functionality of the products. Additional fact is that the number of circuits, and as a result the amount of testpoints, are increasing per design and the features to be tested are getting smaller all the time.
It was therefore a rather obvious decision to purchase the state-of-the-art A9 system from atg-LM. The company are the world leaders in electrical testing of printed circuits with a proven track record. Besides the price to performance ratio, atg-LM delivers reliability, robustness, speed, accuracy, and first-class service through its distribution partner. The A9 systems are fully compatible with the other systems in use at the Group ACB , but the speed and accuracy of the new system is unrivalled.
Like each year we always maintain open at least one factory during the summer shut down, please do not hesitate to contact our sales and customer suport team for your urgent QTA PCB requirements to be ready in September.

With the companies in our PCB division we provide strategic and technological diversification but with a common aim to provide QTA (Quick Turnaround) solutions for all technologies:
-ACB NV in Belgium, specialized in high Technology circuits (sequential & complex builds, / HD I/Flex-rigid) Space qualified.
-Atlantec sas; specialized in complex products using RF/HF materials.
-CIBEL; specialized in technical prototypes/small series & fast QTA & semiconductor market.
With this merger, we are strengthening our position as a center of PCB technological excellence and innovation, while developing our industrial and commercial European capabilities.
The synergies and our financial stability reinforce and create a coherent multi- site source of PCB manufacturing for our customers.
Our parent company ACB Developpement has acquired the ELMITECH Group.
The ELMITECH companies are active in the component programming, tape & reel services, component packaging and component marking business.
This new division expands our technology portfolio and is increasing our services to the customer.
During the summer break we always keep one of our production facilities open to support your urgent needs. (ACB Dendermonde – Belgium is closed week 30/31, Atlantec Malville – France is closed week 32/33/34)
Atlantec, our French PCB factory ( part of the ACB group) has invested in 2 further high level pieces of equipment to enhance their capability and capacity.
A new Schmoll drilling machine with speeds close to 200k RPM will increase the drill capacity and throughput as well as the accuracy and precision. In addition, greater control with depth drilling is obtained with this great investment.
The Schmoll routing machine also installed again creates an advance in the ability to depth rout whilst increasing the production capacity and overall routing capability.
Atlantec and ACB have a continuous investment plan to keep them at the forefront of current and future customer requirements.
