Milestone Overview

 

2016 Change of ownership of the ACB Group on the 28th October 2016. Takeover by the French holding ‘ACB Développement’, of which the major shareholder is Cabestan Capital 2, which is a Capital Investment fund directed by Edmond de Rothschild Investments Partners (EDRIP).
   
2014 ACB receives the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program's (NADCAP) certification.
   
2013 ACB took delivery of a top-of-the-range LED-based Direct Imaging (DI) system from Ucamco. Ledia 5.
   
2012 New ownership of the ACB Group on 7th March 2012. Takeover by 2 French industrials, Mr. Gilles Rigon and Mr. Humbert de Sallmard.
   
2011 New ERP system introduced;
Several IT upgrades improving internal data handling;
Robot flash cutter installed.
   
2010 Local presence in Spain established;
Introduction of SPC (Statistic Process Control).
   
2009 High reliability lab extended.
   
2008 20-year anniversary of both plants;
Copper fill production line qualified in Dendermonde and nickel-gold line in Malville;
ACB NPI-capacity extended to 5 people.
   
2007 Implementation and official release of Hitachi laser drilling machine in the Dendermonde plant.
   
2006 New facility in Malville, factory extended to 3000m2.
   
2005 Further major investments programme started.
   
2004 Opening of representative office in Oslo, Norway and Karlskoga, Sweden.
   
2003 Concentration on medium volume production for the avionics, defence and medical markets.
   
2002 LDI (Laser Direct Imaging) introduced as a standard PCB technology process.
   
2002 Dendermonde factory extended to 8000m2.
   
2001 ACB sales top EUR 15 million for the first time.
   
2001 Atlantec SA, Malville, France, a PCB manufacturing company, joins the ACB group.
   
2000 Change of ownership to Nobel Invest Belgium.
   
1999 Opening of representative office in Pori, Finland.
   
1999 ACB sales top EUR 10 million for the first time.
   
1998 Opening of representative office in Windsor, United Kingdom.
   
1997 ACB is the first PCB manufacturer with Laser drilling capability in Europe.
   
1996 Opening of representative office in Paris, France.
   
1995 New manufacturing location in Dendermonde Belgium.
   
1993 Opening of representative office in Milan, Italy.
   
1992 Opening of representative office in Horb am Neckar, Germany.
   
1990 First multilayer production.
